Martini Extra Dry
Martini is a type of Italian vermouth that was first distilled in the year 1900 and it was named after the martini and Rossi distillery. When we talk about martini extra dry we can talk about a shot of martini that has a little or no amount of dry vermouth. Generally martini is a drink that is made by mixing gin and vermouth in equal proportion and served with a garnishing of lime peel or olives.
The recipe has been tried and tested many a times and has even been revamped to give place to other ingredients. Thus if we go to see there are many variations of the martini extra dry recipe. The simplest of all the martini recipes which go by the martini extra dry tag is as follows:

Martini extra dry is an alcoholic beverage that shares stands with the sparkling wines also created and distilled by the martini brand. The brand has s long history when in the year 1892 it was taken over by the sons of the owner whose name was Rossi. In the year 1930 martini and Rossi was taken over by his grandsons and finally in the year 1992 it was formerly taken over by Bacardi thereby lengthening the legacy of the martini extra dry brand of vermouth. The martini extra dry vermouth was marketed fiercely and did many rounds of the market and it still continues to do so in the present times.
- Take the gin and the vermouth in a mixing glass and add a few cubes of ice to it.
- Mix them well and strain into a martini glass.
- Add a few olives or a twist of lemon peel and serve.
