Before you start off concocting your signature martini recipes you will have to make the pickle syrup. The pickle syrup is the main ingredient after the vermouth and the gin and it is this add on that gives the flavor and taste to the martini.

The pickle syrup recipe for the dirty pickle martini calls for the following ingredients:
  1. 2 parts of distilled vinegar
  2. 2 parts gin (or vodka)
  3. 3 parts water
  4. 1/2 part sugar

Take a vessel and fill it with the said amount of water. Add the first five ingredients to the water and bring to a boil. Heat until the sugar dissolves. Add the spices and store the jar for a period of a week or so before you make use of the syrup. You can combine your produce options with the liquid base or you can go in for separate jars to hold all of the syrup concoctions you have come up with. After you have removed it from storage you will need to refrigerate.
