Cinzano Martini
Cinzano for all those who are new to the world of drink mixing is an Italian brand which is available in four different vermouth flavors. Cinzano rosso is the original followed by the Cinzano Bianca which is a white and drier version, the Cinzano extra dry, and the Cinzano rose which the latest addition to this array of exquisite vermouths from this brand.
These fours variations of the vermouth can be mixed and matched and paired with a number of ingredients to concoct real refreshing and delicately flavored drinks. The Cinzano martini recipe mentioned below will call for the following ingredients which are as follows:- Three ounces of Cinzano sweet vermouth
- A splash of orange bitters
- A plash of angostura bitters
Take all the ingredients and place them in a martini shaker filled with shaved ice. Stir them gently until they have blended into each other in the right proportions. Keep standing for about 5 minutes and then strain the drink into a pre chilled cocktail glass and serve with a garnish of a slice of orange.
The next recipe is known as the Cajun martini and it incorporates a copious amount of Cinzano Bianca which is the white and drier version of the original Cinzano rosso.
For this Cinzano martini you will require the following ingredients:- Three ounces of Absolut peppar vodka
- One ounce of Cinzano Bianca
- Stuffed cocktail olives
- Ice
Take a cocktail glass and fill it with shaved ice and add a little amount of water to it. Let it be standing till the drink is ready to be poured into the glass. You can also pre chill the glass in your freezer before you serve the drink. Now to mix the drink take the ingredients in a pitcher lined with crushed ice. Stir in the two liquids so that they mix thoroughly. Now using a strainer strain the Cinzano martini into the pre chilled cocktail glass and garnish it using stuffed olives skewered on a toothpick.
