Cable Car Martini Recipe

Cable car was the name given to this drink as the hotel was situated in the vicinity of the Nob hill cable car the tracks of which run parallel to this place. The classic mixing techniques used by bartenders all over the world give this drink a lot of spice and life when drunk by the masses of today.

The following s the basic time tested cable car recipe as created by the master mixologist tony Abou-gamin. The ingredients required for the following martini include the following:- 1 1/2 parts of Captains Morgan spiced rum
- 3/4 part of Marie brizard orange curaao
- 1 1/2 parts of fresh lemon sour
For making the fresh lemon sour you will require the following ingredients:- Water
- Sugar
- Lemon juice
Boil two cups of water in a vessel and add one cup of sugar to the mixture. Heat the water and stir the mixture till the sugar is completely dissolved. Now add lemon juice extracted from a sour lime and add it to this mixture and stir well.
Preparation for the martini includes:- Take the spiced rum and the orange Curacao alongwith with the fresh lemon sour syrup in a martini shaker filled with a cup of crushed ice and shake vigorously until properly blended.
- Garnish a martini glass with sugar cinnamon in the following way; first take a lime wedge and rub the rim of the glass. Then dip the glass in a plate containing superfine sugar mixed with cinnamon.
- Now strain the cable car martini recipe mix into the garnished glass and serve.
