007 Martini Recipe
When you come to think of 007 you will remember the phrase 'shaken, not stirred' in the back of your mind, for this was the way that the British agent liked his martini. Though there are many doubts on whether the martini should be shaken or stirred there is no doubt that there are many variations that have been invented to give people the occasion to sip on an invigorating 007 martini recipe mix.
The classic 007 martini recipe as seen from the eyes of the famous agent requires the following ingredients:- Three parts of Gordon
- One part of Vodka
- Half a measure of kina lillet
- Ice cubes
- Lemon peels for garnish
This particular martini is referred to as a dry martini. It calls for a deep champagne glass or more defined goblet. The liquors are mixed in a shaker filled with ice cubes. The blend is then strained into the goblet and the rim is garnished using a peel of lemon and a twist of the same.
Another version of the 007 martini recipe call for the below mentioned ingredients:- Stoli Ohranj vodka 3 parts
- Soda water one and a half part
- Freshly extracted lemon juice
Take a high ball glass and rub lime on the rim and dip it in a plate filled with powdered sugar. Now take the liquids and mix them thoroughly in a martini shaker. Add the lime juice as per taste and serve.
Another one of the famous 007 martini recipe that was written about is the classic vodka martini.
This martini calls for ingredients which include:- 4 parts of simple vodka
- 1/2 part of vermouth
- Ice cubes
- Lemon peel
Combine the ingredients except the lemon peels in a shaker and add ice cubes. Don't stir the mixture but shake. If you don't have a shaker you can add ice cubes to a cocktail glass and pour the vodka and the vermouth over them. Shake the mixture but do not stir it, garnish with lemon peels and serve.
